About this blog

This is the official blog of the Joint Public Issues Team - which is made up of staff from the Baptist Union of Great Britain, the Methodist Church and the United Reformed Church.

The Joint Public Issues Team exists to enable our three churches to work together in living out the gospel of Christ in the church and in society. We aim to promote equality and justice by influencing those in power and by energising and affirming local congregations.

We want to share more of our work and some of the issues we cover with a wider audience and provide a forum for people to offer feedback and express their opinions.

The views and opinions expressed in this blog are personal, and may not necessarily represent the positions of the Baptist Union of Great Britain, the Methodist Church or the United Reformed Church.
